Hi, I'm Brittney...

 

Hi my name is Brittney. I am seventeen years old, and obsessed with everything fashion. In my small town  fashion consist of Buckle jeans and Hollister. I might stick out like a sore thumb how I dress, but it's better to stick out then to fit in and be boring. I have always loved old movies which has led to my mild obsession with vintage clothing. When I started to look into buying pieces I found out that it quickly drains your pocket book. I was desperate for inexpensive alternatives. My oldest sister introduced me to the idea of up cycling. If you don't know what it is don't stress (I didn't either) it is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into something new. I love clothing but have very little money to spend on it, because college is coming up in a little over a year. So I hit the local good will and thrift stores to find whatever grandma perfume covered "jewel" I could up cycle into something modern, chic, and edgy. Everything comes back in style in twenty years anyway right? I just like to think I make it happen a little faster. So here goes my journey into the world of up cycling! Wish me luck!
